Neighborhood info

Location: From the fun-packed Laganas resort to the serene Pantokratoras village and the quaint Zante town, all the major points of interest are basically at your doorstep. Local Markets & Shopping: Laganas has plenty of souvenir and beachwear shops to browse, as well as a couple of mini-markets for daily essentials. The neighbouring resort of Kalamaki is almost an extension of Laganas, but has a much more laid-back vibe, still with many shops and places to eat, and can be reached in 5 minutes by car. Zante town is also full of stores with a variety of local products, souvenirs, and other items. Beaches: The main street of Laganas runs all the way to the beachfront, which then extends right up into neighbouring Kalamaki to the east, and almost into Agios Sostis to the west. It only takes 5 minutes to drive down to the coast, where a choice of great beachfront bars offer a relaxed ambience. Sunbeds and parasols are available and you can even hire a pedalo or join in with a sightseeing boat trip to catch a glimpse of the Caretta-Caretta Turtles swimming around the bay!
