Our Villa is ideal for those looking to spend time together with friends or family, where they can enjoy relaxing time around the pool, somewhere that's fairly quiet. It's a place for people who want a little more privacy than the hotels or large apartments can offer. We're in a residential area so it's definitely not a place for loud music or parties, it's somewhere to chill and soak up the sun. Villa Lemonia is just a 10 minute walk to the nearest tavernas and the Old Town. It's a bit dark on the way home if you're coming back late, so bring a torch. We have secure, gated parking if you are hiring a car. But if you want to make your own way around, Malia has regular buses to towns to the east and west. My wife and I live in the first floor apartment, you wont tend to see that much of us as we like to give our guests privacy, but we are around if you need help or advice. This listing is for the ground floor villa apartment.

My wife and I have been visiting Greece for years. We actually met in Rhodes in 1989 working as holiday reps. We honeymooned on Crete in 1992 and have visited every year with our children since 2003. So it wasn’t really a surprise to anyone that we decided to buy a property here. My wife and I have the first floor apartment so if we can do anything to improve your stay, please let us know.

Villa Lemonia is an a residential area about 1.1km from the centre of Malia. The nearest supermarket and tavernas of Old Malia are less than 10 minutes walk. If you plan to hire a car, we have private parking. Alternatively public transport is very convenient. There is a regular bus from the town centre that goes east towards Agios Nikolaos and west to Heraklion and the airport.
