Villa Rodi is a beautiful house in Katastari, only 1.5km from Alykes resort, ideal for quiet holidays close to many points of interest. It can accommodate up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms, it is split into two floors and it has beautiful views of the sea and mountain. The house is divided into two apartments. The bottom is a semi-basement which is used by the two owners. The upper apartment, which is the one you are renting, has its own entrance and staircase, its own terrace, and its own access to the garden. It can accommodate up to 8 people in an area of ​​150 sq.m. The house offers a total of 3 double beds, 1 single bed and 2 rollaway beds. The veranda on the principal floor offers outstanding views and there you can enjoy your meals and barbecues breathing some fresh air. Although the plot is located in the centre of the village, it is not situated on the main road. The house is surrounded on all four sides by olive groves. In the centre of the village, you will find important amenities, such as a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, and more. We have chickens, dogs and cats on the property and there are various fruit trees and herb plants.

Welcome to Villa Rodi and to Zakynthos! When we built the house, we imagined it to be a haven for ourselves and others in which to slow down time, reconnect with ourselves and do creative work. It isn't a typical rental property but a home away from home. The house has a light, airy feel, it has a sea view and is surrounded by olive groves, which can be seen through its many windows. There aren't too many belongings - the interior is quite uncluttered, cosy and serene. It gives me great joy and satisfaction when our guests say how lovely a time they had in the house, how relaxed they are when they are leaving, and also how much they want to come back.

We love the location because it is in the middle of everything but also secluded at the same time. The house is in the centre of Katastari, located 1800 metres from the sea and the quaint tourist resort of Alykes, the most relaxed and quiet of the tourist resorts on the island, with the famous golden sandy beach, which has been awarded the blue flag for cleanliness. Excellent tavernas, restaurants, bars and cafes can be found there. Alykes is ideal for older families, or families with small children as the sand shelves gently into the Ionian Sea. The house is located about 300 metres from the amenities of the village, the supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, flower shop, and cafe. Also in the village, there is a post office, a car repair shop, a tire repairer, a car wash, a hairdresser, a pastry shop, a bookstore, and a hardware store. The gas/ petrol station is located just below the house, at 150 meters distance. From the house, you can reach the world-famous Shipwreck cove viewpoint (30 mins), Zakynthos town (20 mins), Blue Caves, Limnionas (40 mins), Askos Stone Park (25 mins), Xygia sulfur beach (10 mins) and of course all the fabulous beaches within 45 mins-1 hour maximum.
