Villa Status is a private holiday home built in complete harmony with the surrounding area, adhering to the architecture of the island. Like most Zante houses, the villa is inspired by the medieval Venetian mansions and features three floors and big open plan rooms. Traditional elements, such as the rooftop, the adorable balconies, and the wooden ceiling on the attic blend naturally with the contemporary furniture inside. Similarly, the outdoors are a wonderful spot to absorb the sun and fresh air. About the Villa Throughout villa Status, a mix of pale shades and warm bold colours make you feel completely at home. Four bedrooms on the first floor and the attic with a majestic countryside view and sofa beds, as well as three bathrooms, make for an exceptional stay. A large kitchen is equipped with all the necessities for family meals or big gatherings with friends, which you can enjoy at the indoor or outdoor dining table. Unwind at the modern living rooms with traditional touches, such as the brick fireplace and the stone sofas, or by the pool and the built-in barbecue.

Location Practically in the centre of the beautiful Ionian island, Vougiato is a low-key village in Zante, still holding old traditions and keeping a slow pace. Soothing landscapes of pristine nature encircle villa Status and architectural gems of Byzantine churches attract the few village residents and guests. Olive trees and vineyards are aplenty here, giving you just the right amount of inspiration for your next wine or olive oil tasting in Zakynthos. Beaches Laganas beach, the biggest one you will find on the island, is 7 km away and is well-known for its clear waters and for being the place where the Caretta-Caretta turtles lay their eggs. The sandy beach of Tsilivi, also 15 minutes from the villa, offers a shore long enough for swimming, walking, or sunbathing. Try some water sports or relax under the Greek sun. Both resorts offer sunbeds for rent and beach bars for all-day snacking. Bars & Restaurants A traditional restaurant near the village square, and a small cafe, offer a peaceful lunch setting within walking distance.
