About the neighborhood; WHY LINDOS? Lindos is home to the significant archeological site known as Lindos Acropolis, the jewel of Greece. It's the most impressive site on Rhodes. You can easily spend hours enjoying ancient ruins of the Temple of Athena Lindia, unforgettable views of St.Paul's Bay and amazing sunset over Lindos village. Take a stroll through the charming village of Lindos with white-washed houses, rooftop gardens, restaurants and shops. Discover the natural beauty of St. Paul's Bay, it appears almost like a swimming pool protected by costal cliffs. It's famous for its magnificent landscape and stunning view of the Acropolis. ***** Take a short walk down the hill and explore Navarone bay blessed with golden sandy beach and crystal clear waters. Good to know that Navarone Bay is named after "The Guns of Navarone" movie production which was filmed around this area in 1961 starring with Gregory Peck, David Niven and Anthony Quinn. ***** The Acropolis, Lindos village and St. Paul's Bay are 3km to the North. Pefkos beach with many seaside tavernas is 3km to the South.
