The Georgoudis family has been hosting guests at Xifoupolis for 3 generations. We run one property. We know every room, every view, and most of our returning guests by name. Katerina and Iakovos are on-site and personally involved every day. Our team's rating of 9.7 out of 10 reflects what guests tell us most often: they felt at home, not like a room number. We also operate our own organic farm, which supplies the breakfast table every morning. Olive oil, honey, and preserves from the farm are available for guests to take home. Xifoupolis is a family-run hotel, owned and operated by the Georgoudis family for three generations. Our organic farm supplies around 70% of your breakfast each morning - fresh eggs from our hens, olive oil we press ourselves, seasonal vegetables, and homemade pies and preserves made from recipes passed down through the family. This is not a marketing claim. It is simply how we eat, and how we have always welcomed guests. All rooms and family apartments have private balconies or terraces with guaranteed sea views over the Aegean. The beach is a 5-minute walk. The UNESCO-listed Monemvasia castle rock is a short drive away. We have been welcoming families and couples since 2005. Many return every year, some for more than ten years running. Winner of the 2026 KAYAK Travel Award for excellence in hospitality.

Xifoupolis sits in the village of Xifias, in the Laconia region of the Peloponnese, one of the quieter, more authentic corners of southern Greece. The air is clean, the pace is slow, and the sea is never far. The UNESCO-listed Monemvasia castle rock is the main attraction of the area - a Byzantine fortress town built into a single massive rock rising from the sea.
