Welcome to Zorbas Studios and Agia Roumeli! I was born and grew up at the village of Agia Roumeli. After some years in Athens, I returned to Crete and managing touristic facilities and hotels over the past 30 years. It will be my great pleasure you to host you at Zorbas Studios, share with you the history of Samaria and facilitate your stay with us. Property info

The family run Zorbas Studios sit right next to the beach, in the lovely seaside village of Agia Roumeli in south Crete. Accommodation at Zorbas Studios consists of one apartment and newly built studios, each with beautiful sea or village views. All rooms and apartments offer free Wi-Fi, TV, fridge, tea/coffee maker and air conditioning. Agia roumeli village is accessible by ferry from Sfakia, Loutro, Sougia, or Palaiochora, or by foot from Samaria Gorge. It is not accessible by car. Zorbas studios are exactly in front of the sea (2 meters distance).

Neighborhood info

Agia Roumeli is a quiet waterfront village which rests at the bottom of famous Samaria gorge and features a few taverns, restaurants and mini-markets. You can reach Agia Roumeli by boat (from Sfakia or Palaiochora) or on foot, by crossing the gorge of Samaria. It is not possible to arrive by car.
