We love it, when our guest feel comfortable and do everything to achieve it. We are happy to help with any advice and action so that our guests can orientate themself in the tropical environment and the mayan culture. Dethlev is something like an expert for Mayan culture.

Property info

The "Casa Alemán" is located in a botanical garden on the jungle-covered slopes, just above Lago de Petén Itzá. From your own terrace you may have stunning tropical sunsets nearly every day. The small village of El Remate with many restaurants, shops and the beaches on the lake shore can be reached within six minutes on foot. The ancient Mayan city of Tikal lies within the adjacent biosphere and is easily accessible by minibus or with a guide. The city and island of Flores and the international airport are just 25km away from our home. The apartments are comfortably furnished in german style. We speak English, German and Spanish.

Neighborhood info

Just nearby the "casa Alemán" you may find a lot of restaurants, shops, beaches and jetties at the lake side. The ancient city of Flores on an island in Lago de Petén Itza is just 45 minutes away. There are lots of minibuses and tourist agencies that help you to go everywhere. The ancient Maya-City of Tikal, deep in the beautiful jungle is acsessible by bus or with a guide.
