Lipa je mirno i tiho naselje na Liburnijskom krasu u zaleđu Opatije koje pruža savršen bijeg od ljetne vreve. Zahvaljujući nadmorskoj visini od 513 metara, mjesto ima iznimno ugodnu klimu koja čak i tijekom najvrelijih ljetnih dana donosi svježinu i ugodne noći za odmor. Uz odmor u prirodi, mjesto nudi i jedinstven kulturni sadržaj kroz suvremeni Memorijalni centar "Lipa pamti". Pored mira i tišine , najveća prednost naselja je odlična lokacija s koje iznimno brzo stižete do svih važnih odredišta: More i plaže – Opatija,Volosko,Rijeka nalaze se na svega 15 minuta ugodne vožnje. Istra – smještena u neposrednom susjedstvu, odmah s druge strane Učke cca 1 h Gorski kotar – zelene planine i guste šume počinju odmah iznad mjesta. Otok Krk – dostupan je za samo 40 minuta vožnje autocestom. Slovenija – udaljena je tek nekoliko minuta. Italija (Trst) – dostupna je za manje od sat vremena.
