We are ex patriot Croatians that have retired back to Croatia after living most of our lives in North America...we have returned because of the love of our homeland, and our beautiful island that we love sharing with others.

The island of Iž was voted one of the most undiscovered islands on the Croatian Adriatic coast. The island is a peaceful escape from the busy lives many of us lead. If you are looking to have a relaxing vacation, in a quaint, clean and comfortable property, with beautiful sea and garden views, walking access to the beach, restaurants, cafe, and bars, supermarket, and local fisherman then you have come to the right place. The small fishing inlet of Komoševa is like going back in time the way Dalmatia used to be. It is not touristy at all and is quiet, slow paced, and picturesque. However you have all the amenities available to enjoy your vacation. There are mooring spots if you sail, an island marina, restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets, great fishing, and tours around the island as well as other neighboring islands like Dugi Otok, and Kornati with in 1 hr ride. The island has everything, but it doesn’t have the crowds, and is not over run by tourism like other busier spots in the Adriatic.
