Kraljevica is a hidden gem on the Kvarner coast, perfectly positioned between Rijeka and Crikvenica, with the island of Krk just across the bridge. Beaches: The Oštro peninsula has lovely sandy and pebble beaches — our favorite for families. The quiet Uvala Scott and Dubno bay are perfect for a more secluded swim. All are within a short walk or drive. Food & Drink: Don't miss the fresh seafood at the local konobas along the waterfront. Ask Helena for her personal recommendations — she knows all the best spots. Day Trips: The island of Krk (10 min by car), Opatija (30 min), Crikvenica (15 min), and Rijeka with its museums and vibrant Korzo promenade (20 min) are all easy to reach. Risnjak National Park is about an hour away for hikers. Activities: Sailing, diving, cycling, and hiking are all available nearby. The area is also known for its mild climate — even in shoulder season, the weather is pleasant. Getting Here: Rijeka Airport is just 9 km away.
