Banica Apartments & Rooms is set at the very heart of the UNESCO-listed Diocletian's palace. Only 165 ft from St Domnius Cathedral, it features free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned accommodations with stylish furnishings, a flat-screen satellite TV and a minibar. Many picturesque shops, bars and restaurants serving local specialties and international dishes can be found within the narrow streets of the Old Town. Riva, the main seaside promenade 500 ft away, can be accessed through the ancient basements of the Palace. Bačvice, Split's most popular beach, is just over half a mile away. Marjan Park-Forest, overlooking the surrounding islands, is also about half a mile away. Free pick-up service from any location in the town can be oragnized. Split Bus and Train Stations, as well as the Ferry Port, are just over a quarter mile away. Split Airport is 16 miles from the Apartments & Rooms Banica and shuttle service can be arranged at a charge.

A family of 3 doing business in other industries and only recently passionately in tourism. We're trying to run things our own way, without following any "book of standards".

Property info

Two large terraces on the top are one of the highest points of the old town, offering some unique views of the old town. We try to create friendly and home-like atmosphere to differentiate from hotels which tend to be "depersonalized".

Neighborhood info

It's the hearth of the old city - middle of Diocletian's palace. Everything is nearby, from restaurants, bars, sightseeing or transportation (bus, train, ferry). Once you reach old town (pedestrian-only zone) you don't need your car anymore.
