This island is located 45 kilometers from the mainland and the colorful center of the island is the town of Vis. Vis is located in a large and naturally protected bay, so it is not surprising that the ancient Greeks chose Issa (Vis) as one of the centers of their trade. The Greco-Roman period is still visible today in the remains of the thermal baths, theaters and city ramparts. We are sure that you won't be able to decide which of the nearby bays and beaches is more beautiful. The way to the King George Fort (Fortica) is not easy, but the view from the fortress is worth it.
