The camp site has existed since 1963 and is one of the first camp sites operating in the area of Premantura. In the first three decades its guests were mostly young Slovenes and foreigners from European countries, students, and also families. While spending their holidays in the nature in a simple way, they did not mind occasionally taking a shovel or a wheelbarrow and helping to build the camp site. Socialising on sport courts, at work or when having fun, they forged deep friendships and first loves emerged. Many of them are still returning as guests or visitors to revive old memories. After the independence of Croatia, the company Kranjski kamp d. o. o. was registered in 1992 in Croatia and took over the camp site for further management. In the last five years we have started gradually renovating the camp site and adjusting it to the new needs, guests' demands and new standards. First we renovated all joint sanitary blocks, children's playground, basketball court, decorated the surroundings with new plantations of trees and ornamental plants. We have asphalted the access path, arranged the beach and new pitches for camping.

They are perfect for spending holidays in quiet, nature area, safe for small children to play, close to the beach. On a separate location in the camp, which spreads on almost 3000 m2 of land, eight houses – bungalows were built. They are surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation and fragrant pine trees. There is a joint area for socialising and grilling. The total area of each bungalow is 50 m2, which is enough for a comfortable and pleasant stay of a 4- or 5-member family. Indoors measure a total of 35 m2 and a covered outdoor terrace, equipped with a table and chairs, measures 17 m2. The indoors is divided into two separate bedrooms with two beds, a bathroom with a shower, a sink and a toilet; a living area with a sofa, a table and chairs, a TV; and a kitchen area. The kitchen area is equipped with an oven and a cooker, a refrigerator with a freezer, all necessary kitchenware and cutlery. Each bungalow has a parking space for one car and a planted vegetation area in front of the terrace, where you can place a deckchair for your afternoon nap, sunbathing or an enjoyable read. There is a modern gas grill to use. Dogs are allowed with previous comformation and only one dog per unit. Adittional cost for a night stay and extra cost for cleaning for dogs inside bungalow ( sofa, bed). Final cleaning fee is mendatory, can be payed last day.

Cape Camenjak South of the village Premantura, only a kilometre from the camp site, spreads out the Kamenjak 9.5 km long protected nature area. Beautiful beaches, bays and Mediterranean vegetation, where everyone can find their own place under the sun and enjoy the sea air. The peninsula is only 1.5 km wide, so you will be happy to walk or cycle across it. At the very south of the Kamenjak an interesting Safari bar is located, as well as cliffs and caves, perfect for diving enthusiasts and explorers of underwater wonders.
