Situated in the heart of Sutivan along the scenic harbor promenade, this old castle in form of a tower with the original name Kastil Marijanović, was built in 17th century by a settler Janko Marijanović - Dražoević, known as count Janko. This Janko's palace is a picturesque and relatively small building, with inclined ground-floor providing with impression of being fortress, with balcony overlooking the sea and sun clock on its southern side. It has been in my family for almost 100 years, and the sun clock was restored in 2004 and since then has regained full functionality. The apartment has been renovated in 2015 and now has an additional charm of old stone walls in every room and a bigger dinning and living room- photos soon. The warmth and airiness of the rooms is obtained through valuable old furniture and simple Mediterranean decor. What I love the most about this town are its pristine secluded beaches, warm people and good food- especially fish! And one other thing- the sunsets from the balcony are just breathtaking!

Sutivan is a real gem, yet to be discovered (and we like it as undiscovered and true), with numerous hidden beaches, crystal blue sea and unforgettable burning sunsets that melt into the sea. Very near in the same complex is the beautiful and harmonious summer cottage of Kavanjin built from 1690 to 1705 with a baroque garden. In the same street, you will find restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and a bus stop. It is just a magnificent and unique building in a perfect place, I dare say.
