Wake up beneath the limestone peaks of Velebit, hike to Bačić Kuk before breakfast, swim in the Adriatic after lunch and spend the evening beneath starry night skies. Stars Peak is a private mountain chalet inside Velebit Nature Park, just 30 minutes from the sea. As Stars Peak is completely off-grid, we kindly ask our guests to use water and electricity thoughtfully and sparingly. Hello! We are Marko and Ljiljana. We built Stars Peak because we wanted to share the part of Croatia most visitors never discover, and we are happy to help with any questions you may have before or during your stay.
Stars Peak sits between two worlds. Within minutes you can hike to Bačić Kuk and the limestone peaks of Velebit, while Karlobag, Zavratnica Bay and the Adriatic coast are only a 30-minute drive away. Few places in Croatia let you combine mountain hiking, swimming in the sea and stargazing in a single day.
