In 2024, we embarked on a journey to create something special—a home in the timeless village of Zaraće, where our roots run deep. Our goal was to honor the past while embracing modern living, preserving Zaraće’s essence with contemporary elements for enhanced comfort. Thus, we created a perfect harmony of old and new. As the warm sun lit up Zaraće’s picturesque landscape, we brought our vision to life. The home’s exterior reflects heritage and resilience, crafted from stones sourced from an old, abandoned house that once stood on the same land. Each stone connects us to the past, forming the foundation of our new home. Villa Father's Heart is designed for comfort and functionality, spanning multiple levels. The ground floor features a spacious living room, a fully equipped modern kitchen, and a bedroom with a luxurious matrimonial bed (180 x 200 cm) and en-suite bathroom. The 50 m² space includes cozy seating, a smart TV, A/C, and a charming fireplace. The first floor offers a master bedroom with a matrimonial bed (180 x 200 cm), en-suite bathroom, work desk, A/C, and windows framing stunning views of the Adriatic. This 40 m² sanctuary is perfect for relaxation. Additionally, a small house at the complex entrance provides a 9 m² third bedroom with its own bathroom and A/C, ensuring privacy for guests. The villa's outdoor areas celebrate Mediterranean beauty. The patio (15 m²) is ideal for al fresco dining, featuring a wood-fired oven, a 3x2 pool, two sunbeds, a large umbrella, and a dining area for five. The yard (21 m²) offers a lounge area with sunbeds next to an old well, opening to stunning sea views, evoking the feeling of sailing across azure waters. Villa Father's Heart includes a private 6 m² pool, perfect for cooling off under the Mediterranean sun. My husband and I grew up on the beautiful island of Hvar, attending the same school and class. It’s where we built our earliest memories, had our first jobs, and met each other. Life took us to Zagreb for college, and we stayed there for work, but our connection to the island has never wavered. My husband’s family comes from Zaraće, a small and picturesque village on the island. When the opportunity arose to create something of our own there, we embraced it without hesitation. It felt like the perfect way to honor our roots and share the magic of Hvar with others. Our dream is to introduce guests to the unique rhythm of life on this remarkable island—a captivating blend of peace and vibrancy. One moment, you could be relaxing on a balcony, enjoying a glass of wine while gazing at the sea, and the next, exploring hidden coves or experiencing the vibrant nightlife. Hvar truly offers something for everyone, and we are excited to share its wonders with you.

In the between of two largest cities Hvar and Stari Grad, Zaraće gives a perfect distance from the cities to experience their wonders and also to be able to have peace and quiet. Zaraće is a charming village which decided to divide itself from the world and keep the past for herself. And, if you listen carefully, Zaraće will tell you a story of the past. The village also gives a beautiful view of the sea and is looking at our southern neighbor islands Vis and the front part of the Korčula. The view gives the viewer the sense of peace and warmth additionally with the warmth of the sun.
