We offer affordable accommodation in private rooms that are not shared with other guests – each room is rented separately. All rooms are simply furnished and do not have private bathrooms. Guests have access to 10 shared bathrooms located just across the hallway from the rooms. Each bathroom is equipped with a toilet, shower, and sink. Veliki dom Platak has a total of 22 rooms, including: 8 double rooms, 8 triple rooms, 1 four-bed room, 2 five-bed rooms, 2 six-bed rooms (with bunk beds) and 1 large room with 21 beds. We can accommodate up to 87 guests. Bathrooms are located on each floor (2 levels), with a total of 10 separate shared bathrooms. A buffet breakfast is included in the overnight stay price.

Platak is located at an altitude of 1,111 meters, surrounded by beautiful nature within easy reach, just a 30-minute drive from Rijeka, 2 hours from Zagreb, and 10 km in a straight line from the sea. Combining mountain and Mediterranean climates with untouched natural beauty, Platak is best known as a ski resort with 10 km of marked slopes and is also the only ski resort with a view of the sea. In its unique setting, besides skiing, it offers a wealth of activities throughout the entire year. The Snježnik and Risnjak mountains are a paradise for hikers. The hiking time on the Platak-Veliki Risnjak trail is 3 hours and 30 minutes, and on the Platak-Snježnik trail 1 hour and 30 minutes. Cyclists can challenge themselves with demanding mountain climbs, but everyone can enjoy a gentle ride on well-maintained trails amid beautiful mountain greenery. There are also three new walking paths here. Particularly attractive is the short climb to Radeševo, offering stunning views of the sea and the forested hinterland.
