Hello, I’m Matea, and I take care of Holiday Home Alegra and our guests. My family has been connected to Podgora for more than 25 years, and Alegra has been part of our story since 2010. I am always happy to help with local recommendations, from beaches, restaurants and activities to day trips and places worth discovering beyond Podgora and Dalmatia. At the same time, I fully respect your privacy and personal space. My goal is simple: to make you feel welcome, comfortable and at home, while helping you enjoy your holiday your own way.
Holiday Home Alegra is located in Srida Sela, Gornja Podgora, a peaceful historic hillside village above Podgora, surrounded by Biokovo Mountain, traditional stone houses and Mediterranean nature. The beaches and centre of Podgora are 3.1 km away — approximately 7 minutes by car or 40 minutes on foot. The area is ideal for guests who enjoy peace, walking and an authentic Dalmatian atmosphere, while the beaches, restaurants and attractions of the Makarska Riviera are easily accessible by car. If you visit in the last week of August, you may also experience the traditional celebration of St. Vicenco, featuring local customs, food, wine and festivities.
