I am an event planner and likes attention to detail. My permanent home is in South Africa, but I bought my little paradise 16yrs ago and spent three months a year in House Beatrix. That means it is equiped to make any stay as comfortable as possible. Stari Grad is my happy place and I hope you will have the same amazing times.
The neighbours are all very kind and helpful so never hesitate to ask for assistance. The St Stephan Church is a stones throw from my apartment and also the preferred meet and greet place. The name of our street changed recently and the new address is 12 Svetkja Skarpa Ulica - so don't panic when you struggle to find the place. There are more that 15 restaurants open during the summer season and all of them do authentic Croatian cuisine. If you feel like grilling fish please visit the riva (waterfront) early in the morning to pick the freshest available. There is also a fish market next to Cafebar Casper. Rapidus Rent have scooters and cars available to rent and can be found next to Tommy Supermarket in summer.
