With its 3,500 inhabitants, Supetar is the largest settlement on the island of Brač. It is connected to Split, the center of Dalmatia, by ferry line (several times a day). The place is dominated by the church of the Annunciation of Mary and the white dome of the Mausoleum of the Petrinović family.
