It is estimated that our house is about 100 years old, built of stone and rebuilt. It is surrounded with 2000 square meters of pristine nature so you can see pheasants, hares, deer and authentic birds

Visnjan is located in the continental part of the Istrian peninsula. Only a kilometer away from the town center, on the road through the woods and vineyards, lays the village Babudri and our house. Around Babudri there are good cycling paths. In Visnjan there are a few shops, post office, pharmacy, bank restaurant and pizzeria. Excellent authentic wine - red Teran or white Malvasia, you can taste and buy directly with manufacturers in their beautifully decorated basements, and they will offer you several types of Istrian grappa and famous Istrian honey or olive oil. Višnjan is known worldwide for its observatory and its head operater Korade Korlević (by which it is called an asteroid). We recommend you to visit the cave in the nearby Nova Vas, and geno-park Istrian cattle. In Višnjan there is folk fair on the last Thursday of the month, and at the end of July patron of Višnjan called Madalenjina. If you are a bit adventurous, you can fly (paragliding), with the hills around the nearby Kastelir. The sea is 12 kilometers away. You can swim at one of the many beaches in Porec, and at evening stroll through medieval towns such as Vrsar, Porec, Novigrad, Motovun, Grožnjan.
