Sometimes the most beautiful stories begin simply – with a house, good friends and a love for a very special place. It all started in the 1980s, when my parents built our house in Kaštel Štafilić. What was originally meant to be a home for our family soon became a place where they also welcomed their friends for summer holidays. Those friends told their friends about our home and about the beautiful summers in Croatia – and year after year, we began welcoming more and more guests. At the time, we were still living in Germany and spent our summers in Kaštel Štafilić. The house, the sea and all the wonderful encounters with our guests gradually became a very special part of our lives. In 2014, I made an important decision: I moved permanently to Croatia and began taking care of our house and working in tourism full-time. It was a big step, but at the same time it felt like coming home to a place that had meant so much to me since childhood. In 2019, Stephanie moved from Germany to Croatia to join me. Since then, we have been taking care of our home and welcoming our guests together, with lots of passion and heart. Today, we are married and proud parents of two sons. Our family is also completed by two dogs and two cats. 🐶🐶🐱🐱 Life with us can sometimes be lively and a little chaotic, but above all, it is warm, personal and family-oriented. And that is exactly the feeling we want to share with our guests – not simply staying somewhere on holiday, but feeling a little bit at home. We are grateful to be able to continue the tradition my parents started many years ago. Welcome to Krišto-Croatia, our little home by the Adriatic Sea, where we have been welcoming guests for many years. Our house is located just 125 metres from the beach, in a peaceful dead-end street with no through traffic – only local residents. We offer 4 comfortable guest rooms and 2 self-catering apartments, making our home suitable for couples, families, friends and longer stays. One of the great advantages of our location is that you can reach almost everything you need on foot. The beach is only a short walk away, and bars, restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries and pharmacies are all approximately 5 minutes away. So you can easily start your day with fresh bread from the bakery, enjoy a coffee or breakfast nearby, spend the day at the beach and finish the evening with dinner at one of the local restaurants – all without having to get in the car. We speak Croatian, German and English fluently, which makes communication easy and allows us to welcome guests from many different countries. As a family-run accommodation, we are personally involved in everything and are always happy to help with questions, recommendations or tips for your stay. Many of our guests return year after year, and some have become good friends over the years. For us, that is one of the most wonderful parts of what we do. Our goal is not simply to provide you with a place to sleep. We want you to feel welcome, comfortable and a little bit at home while enjoying your time in Croatia. ✈️ Split Airport Split Airport (SPU) in Kaštela is only about 5 minutes away by car, making your arrival and departure very easy and convenient. 🏖️ The Beach The beach is only 125 metres from our house, so you can reach the sea within just a few minutes on foot. For guests travelling with dogs, there is also a small dog-friendly beach approximately 1 kilometre away. 🍹 Restaurants & Bars You don't have to go far to enjoy a good coffee, a cold drink or something delicious to eat. The beach bar Gabine is located right at the end of our street. It is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee, have a cold beer or refreshing drink in the afternoon, or simply sit back and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere by the sea. In the evenings, live bands often provide music and entertainment. Right next to Gabine there's also a kiosk. Along the promenade, there are many more restaurants, cafés and bars, all within easy walking distance. Whether you are looking for a relaxed lunch, traditional Croatian food, fresh seafood or a drink by the sea in the evening, you will have plenty of choices. Smaller shops such as Tommy and Konzum, local bakeries and kiosks can be reached on foot. Along the promenade, you will also find several smaller shops offering souvenirs, clothing and other holiday essentials – perfect for a relaxed stroll and a little holiday shopping. ⚓ Trogir Trogir is another beautiful destination and is easy to reach from Kaštel Štafilić. Whether you are looking for beautiful beaches, good food, nightlife, shopping, historic towns or simply a relaxing day by the sea, , there is plenty to discover in the area surrounding Krišto-Croatia. And after a day of exploring, you can return to our peaceful home, relax on the rooftop terrace and enjoy the view of the Adriatic Sea. 🌊☀️
