The Lukenda Rooms are placed in a beautiful little town called Pakostane, right between lake Vrana and the sea. A very Croatian town with an authentic culture. The house is ca. 300m away from the beach and has an amazing view straight to the sea. Each room has its own en suite bathroom. The terrace with a panoramic view offers a BBQ and enough space for a relaxed dinner. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities. We are there for you if you have any questions and happy to help you around. Since there is three more rooms on that floor sharing the terrace and kitchen, other people might be around.
We are two sisters, Ana and Sanja, who live part-time in Germany and spend as much time as we can in beautiful Pakoštane, where our mom lives year-round with her beloved cats and takes care of the garden. Our parents started building this house in 1978 as a place for the whole family to gather. Over time, it became a welcoming home for guests from around the world. Since 2019, we’ve been continuing our father’s legacy of hosting – always with love, care, and a desire to improve. We truly enjoy welcoming people and making them feel at home. Let us know if there’s anything we can do to make your stay even better!
Pakoštane is a charming Dalmatian village nestled between the Adriatic Sea and Vrana Lake, Croatia’s largest lake. It’s the perfect base for exploring nature, with several national parks nearby – including the Kornati Islands, Krka Waterfalls, and Plitvice Lakes. The town’s coastline is dotted with three small islands – Sveta Juština, Školj, and Babuljaš – adding to its unique beauty. Pakoštane also has a rich history, with Roman ruins submerged in the bay and remnants from Venetian and Ottoman times scattered across the area.
