Tucked into the winding stone streets of Split’s historic Old Town, Matuško House is a 500-year-old traditional Dalmatian home that offers charm, comfort, and unbeatable location - all just steps from Diocletian’s Palace and the buzzing Riva promenade. The House Layout: Our home is spread across four levels, with two private rooms per floor (each with its own private entrance and bathroom). There is no elevator, and the building has a narrow staircase, typical of historic Old Town homes - please keep this in mind if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues. • Ground Floor (Apartment) • First Floor (Rooms 1 & 2) • Second Floor (Rooms 3 & 4) • Top Floor (Rooms 5 & 6) Each room is uniquely styled but offers the same amenities and cozy, quiet atmosphere - perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Important Notes: • There is no elevator - all rooms are accessible only by stairs • We offer self check-in via smart lock, but are happy to greet you personally if you prefer - just let us know in advance • No daily housekeeping, but for longer stays, we offer towel refresh and cleaning upon request • Our historic home is located in a lively area - bars, restaurants, and street life are nearby, so occasional city sounds are part of the charm • The house has no sea view, but you’ll enjoy rooftops, stone alleyways, and that signature Old Town atmosphere
