Apartment House: Marijin dvor is perfectly located on a small hill only a short 5 minute walk from the centre of Splitska. It`s a quiet and sunny place where houses with lush green gardens bump right up against a shallow fishing harbour. There are about twenty settlements on the island with characteristic features of the Mediterranean little towns villages, and Splitska is one of them. Its just 6 km. away from the main town and ferry port called Supetar.

Beaches and sightseeing: 5 minutes walk away there are some very nice beaches like Bok, Zastup and Grabova. Another really nice sandy beach 10 minutes by car is Lovrecina. Did you know? Splitska in Roman times acted as a port from where the white Brač stone was taken to Split an other places. Washington's White House, Vienna’s Parliament and Diocletian’s palacein Split are just some of the monumental buildings made from stone quarried on the Croatian island of Brac. In Spliska you can see the ancient Rasohe quarry, where in Roman times slave workers carved into the rock face a relief of Hercules, a symbol of strength and a demigod with the power to protect communities from harm.
