Our holiday house is located on the mountain Velebit in a small abandoned village "Štokić pod" at 750 meters above sea level. In an oasis of peace and greenery along the border of the Northern Velebit National Park overlooking the sea and islands. As the house is located in the mountains, a 10-kilometer long road leads to it from the main road. First 8 km is an asphalted narrow mountain road, while the remaining 2 km is a gravel road. The house consists of a spacious bedroom with living room, kitchen, dining room and bathroom. The house is completely autonomous (off-grid); for electricity we use solar energy,and for the water supply there is a Stone Well that collects the rainwater, for hot water supply we heat the water with wood-fired boiler. Next to the house is a technical room and a garden lounge in the shade 80 year old cherry tree. For barbecue there is a place in the traditional stone fireplace. Water is limited to 10 cubic meters, or 10,000 liters. Extra water is available at an additional cost.
