Our place is neat, free-standing, newly restored and completely equipped house. It is located in the center of the Istrian Peninsula, which is, according to many visitors, the most beautiful region of Croatia. NEW: Two new bikes for our guests! The house has a large living room, an open kitchen integrated in the living room, a dining area with a big, solid-wood dinning table, a fireplace, two sofas, TV (with satellite), and a wireless Internet connection (Wi-Fi). The living room has traditional and warm interior, as it was originally built. The open kitchen is equipped with all the basic appliances. For sleeping and resting, the house has two bedrooms - one with double bed, and one with two single beds. Furthermore, both sofas in the living room can easily be transformed into two, or even three extra beds. All rooms have their own air conditioning unit. For kids under 3 or 4 years we have two portable cribs. Outside of the house we have big terrace with table, chairs, outdoor grill and living shade. Parking is not an issue, there is plenty of available space around the house.

We are a couple living in the separate house only few meters away so our guests can reach us almost at any time if necessary. In case guests want total privacy we won’t bother them in any way. As an additional service for a small fee we can arrange laundry washing. We have limited knowledge of English language. In case of the language barrier, we will call our son (who is fluent) to help us manage. Also, there is an online translator.

Pićan is an old town (we still call it a town, because of it's historical position, but it can rightfully be considered as a village, as it has less than 300 inhabitants). It is a former seat of a historical diocese (from late Roman period until 18th century). Pićan, as central Istria in general, is very peaceful, quiet place that can suit perfectly as a place to rest and enjoy free time with family and friends. Small grocery shop is 30 meters away, park/playgorund for kids is 50 meters away, as is the portal to enter the old city. Nearest restaurant is 3 minutes drive away, and in the reach of 15 minutes there are dozen more. Pićan can also serve as a good starting point to reach everything that Istria has to offer (fine food, a lot of nature, beautiful cities like Rovinj or Pula, beach resorts like Rabac, small old towns like Motovun, Groznjan, old part of Labin, and other things like wine roads, water-world, bicycle friendly roads).
