Being coffee lovers ourselves, we made sure the apartment has a proper espresso machine, so that your morning coffee comes as easy as pressing a button. The apartment is on the top floor (with elevator access) of a 1906. Art Nouveau building (famous for the mural by Ivan Mestrovic, one of Croatia's most celebrated sculptors) with the entrance directly from the main square. As for the neighbourhood, given its thousand year old history, Zagreb naturally gravitates towards the old downtown neighbourhood around the main square, so there is no better neighbourhood to experience it from. With more than 20 museums, countless bars and restaurants, various parks and the Zagreb Botanical Garden within easy walking distance, you will have no shortage of things to do. The famous Dolac market is literally around the corner, so if you want to experience the true spirit of Zagreb, you'll never need to go far.
