An additional asset Residence Stine has to offer is the first built-in elevator in this charming narrow neighborhood. This comfort and great service - surrounded by well-preserved local architecture and diverse cultural monuments - makes Residence Stine the perfect holiday home. Residence Stine is an excellent place for a “base” if you plan on making a number of side trips. The numerous excursions and variety of experiences available will make you holiday in Dalmatia unforgettable. Split as city where you can catch a boat to an almost every island in the mid-Adriatic. Or day excursion to the National Parks Krka or Plitvice, Trogir another UNESCO city, the Dalmatian hinterland offering beautiful sights, preserved nature and typical Dalmatian gastronomy. Memories of authentic places you definitely won’t forget for a long time.

Residence Stine is located in the very heart of Split in the city district called Varoš. This historical part of the city from the late 17th century, just next to the Diocletian's Palace, offers a great sight of pedestrian streets, several significant churches and Marjan Hill. The traditional peasant housing consisting of a closed courtyard, stable and wine cellar on the ground floor and an exterior staircase leading to the housing area on the first floor. A perfect place to wander around and feel the typical Mediterranean lifestyle! The Diocletian’s Palace was built 1700 years ago as the first summer residence in the world. Today it is the heart of the city, a monument to cultural heritage and one of the best-preserved late antique villas under the protection of UNESCO. Many citizens of Split will proudly talk about their city as the most beautiful in the world and its first inhabitant, the Roman Emperor Diocletian.
