Company info
Your host, Franjo Radovanić, fell in love with Žumberak back in the late 1990s, when during a walk through mist and rain, he caught sight of a single ray of sunlight shining over the hill of Zminjak. That moment connected him to this place forever.
From then on, step by step, he built this small camp in the wilderness - starting with no electricity or water, but with strong determination, vision, and respect for nature. Today, he welcomes you to Zminjak, above the village of Jelinići, where everything is shaped by simplicity, peace, and a deep connection to the natural surroundings.
Franjo is not just the owner, but a present and welcoming host, personally greeting guests and ensuring they feel at home. When available, he shares fresh produce from his eco garden, offering seasonal vegetables grown on-site. He is always nearby and happy to help with anything you may need, while still giving you space to enjoy the calm and privacy of the camp.
A stay here is not just accommodation, it’s an experience shaped by people, nature, and story.
