BelgiumThe staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. It was a last minute thing because of a missed flight connection. We arrived in the middle of the night, past the normal check-in time, but the staff was able to arrange to still have us checked in at the last minute. We also asked for a later checkout while waiting for replacement flight and they were able to allow us to stay in a room longer. And then we also forgot some personal items in the room and they arranged to ship them back to us, so all in all, they really went above and beyond.

Hotel reception staff was superb as the lady helped by taking one trolley bag with her to the room, chef was very good as she made wonderful dinner for us. My kids enjoyed the setting of the room. Overall we had a wonderful overnight stay there and to our surprise, the breakfast was also available from early morning at 6 AM. This helped us to eat proper breakfast before boarding our flight. I wish to give 6 star ratings if its available.

If you expect luxury here, please don’t make a reservation. But if you are looking for a cozy, friendly, warm, quiet atmosphere where you can experience Croatian hospitality, this is the right place.
We arrived almost an hour after the check- in time, but we were greeted with open arms by the owner. We definitely felt welcome.
The food was excellent. We were tired from the long drive, so we ordered single portions. We were very surprised when we were served with big portions delicious tasty meal (enough to satisfy more people). One of the desserts was on the house. The owner paid special attention to us and satisfied all our requests.
The room was small, but with charming, rustic look. The bed was comfortable.
The private parking was big and there was enough space for the guests’ vehicles.
We had to leave early next morning, so the owner provided us with breakfast packed in a box. Again it was delicious and in big quantity.
We regret that we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy this great place. We will definitely return another time.
We highly recommend it!

Everything about our stay at Laganini exceeded my expectations. The house itself is fantastic, clean, and has a great atmosphere, but the most touching were the hosts, Martina and Damir. They are incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It was the perfect relaxing getaway and I enjoyed every minute of it!

I came late after 11pm and shuttle came picked me up. Also, early in the morning they took me to airport on time. Even for short I had good sleep. Proximity to airport is great. Overall good choice for me.

It is a nice Modern Hotel.
It is a nice Modern Hotel. Breakfast is absolutely excellent. But it was misleading because they advertised a hotel shuttle to and from the airport which they do not have so therefore it cost us 60 Euros more and would have otherwise stayed at another place if they hadn't lied about that. The rooms are nice one of the two beds was old and squeaky but the other bed was good. Restaurants close to early.

The town of Jastrebarsko is small but charming, with several tourist attractions to explore. Unfortunately, the castle in Jastrebarsko was under renovation during our visit, but it’s worth checking out when open.

We arrived in the late afternoon and unfortunately had to leave before 6:00 a.m. the next morning, so our visit felt a bit rushed. We chose to stay in Samobor instead of Zagreb since it was only about 30 minutes from the airport, and it turned out to be a great decision. After two weeks of traveling around Croatia, Samobor was the perfect place to slow down and unwind.
Hotel Livadić was excellent, with some of the friendliest staff we met during our trip. We had a delicious dinner at Restoran Karlović (“Samoborska klet”), and there were plenty of other restaurants to choose from as well. That evening, there was a small fair in town, and it seemed like everyone had come out to enjoy it. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and welcoming. We only wish we had been able to stay longer!

I truly appreciate the warmth and coziness of the room; it felt inviting as soon as we walked in. The cleanliness of the apartment is crucial for me, and I’m delighted to see how well-maintained it is. It’s evident that the owners have poured a lot of care and attention into this space. Their responsiveness to my questions has been outstanding. We definitely plan to return when flying to or from Zagreb. My family members who accompanied me on this trip were equally impressed, and we will certainly recommend this lovely place to our friends and family.

Stayed here to visit family. Town on the outskirts of Zagreb. Easy to travel to other areas ie Lubjliana, Plitvice waterfalls & Zagreb itself. In the surrounding area there are museums, restaurants etc

Host offered us tea/coffee/juice when we arrived. We felt at home. She left snacks and cheese plate in the fridge for us. Although we are there for a short night's stay prior to our flight in the early morning, we felt that we could have easily stayed there longer. Very nice room at the back of the house where host stays. Private parking is good. Nice quiet neighborhood.

The hotel is situated in a suburban area which was a pleasant surprise so close to the airport. Many lovely places to walk in the area with shops and bakeries nearby so the location is ideal.
The hotel itself is a wonderfully restored building with lots of history. The dining area seemed like a magnet for maybe locals, which is great for them, but as a visiting tourist we felt a bit like we didn't belong???

The rolling hills, castle ruins, farms, old villages, and wineries are terrific! Very quiet and peaceful surroundings full of nature and charming scenery. I wish I had more time for wine and cheese tasting and hiking around the forests and hills!

This is where I grew up and been coming back with my family...
This is where I grew up and been coming back with my family twice a year since moving to the UK. My husband LOVES Samobor, he says he loves that life slows down and he can fully relax.
Our children cannot wait for our trips. They love the town, we are pretty much residents at cafe "U prolazu" where our favourite employee Lila is always greeting us with a hug. We cannot recommend enough Gabrek restaurant with their incredibly tasty food and wonderful staff, restaurant Nino at the entrance to Samobor where we love their home made breads with delicious grilled meats and pizzeria Napoli that has been one of the most popular places in Samobor since the 80's.
Since I was a small child, Nebi the ice cream shop has been a staple of the town. They now have two locations and the family run business has always been welcoming and kind just like wonderful ice cream flavours they offer.
Always lovely to walk up the the castle ruins. It is an easy walk and the views are stunning from above.
Museum has been under construction for a while now, but it is a lovely journey though time. You can see how it all looked way back when there was sea in these parts.
In summer months, a cool down at the Vugrinscak pool (only 15min nice walk through the paths in the forest from the sqyare) is a must. We love it there.
The food is cheap in Samobor in comparisson to the UK. There are so many different things on offer.
