We built our house respecting all rules of local architecture. It is made out of the typical stone from our island. It has a big yard as well as a beautiful garden. All doors and windows are made by our selfs, as well as the beds. We truly believe that only tourism based on tradition and inherited values can be sustainable. We want you, as our guests to feel good and have a relaxed stay.We put all our energy at your disposal.
During the first steps towards tourism our famil worked in the agriculture business.In the 1960s Nikica Marinkovic Gulermo saw the potential in the new sector of turism and he renewed his family house by creating a floor with 4 rooms and one bathroom and toilet. That's how the idea of SD House was born. His daughter Tonkica Trutanic b. Marinkovic attended Hospitality School in Bol and represents the golden generation of croatian tourist professionals. In 1988 she built a house with her husband Pero Trutanic (a carpenter) , and today the capacity of the house is 24 beds. Their son Nikica Trutanic, still a student, already helps their business with sale and advices.
