We proudly present our romantic stone house dating from the mid-17th century, located in the heart of Blato, a picturesque small village on the island of Korčula. It is a 3 bedroom-2 bathroom house with inner garden spreading over terraces on 3 levels. Owned by the family for generations, it was recently renovated respecting the tradition of original stone construction characteristic of this climate, designed as a pleasant and quiet oasis to indulge in hedonism with a sense of privacy. Modern elements have been added carefully to provide more comfort. The beautiful stone garden filled with flowers feels like an outdoor living room and interacts perfectly with the whole space giving you a truly unique experience of a romantic place. You can choose to relax in the whirlpool, prepare BBQ or enjoy morning coffees, afternoon lunches or romantic dinners. Old photos and documents dating back in the family history are featured on the walls inside, while a small corner with fishing tools that are family heritage is displayed on the terrace. Blato is a Mediterranean village and one of the oldest settlements on the island of Korcula, located around an area called Zlinje and on the surrounding hills. Zlinje is also the most famous street in Blato, with the famous linden tree line planted in 1911, which stretches along the entire main city street and is one kilometer long, the second longest linden tree line in Europe. In addition to the wonderful experience of walking in the shade of linden trees, there is the famous Plokata, Church of All Saints and other medieval and early churches, archeological site Kopila, Knights Association Kumpanjija, ethnographic museum Barilo, Sanctuary of Proto Jesus Petkovic.
