Tesla's Valley is led by a cheerful group of four people – two married couples. Among them are two psychologists, a medical technician who is also a mountain rescue team member, and a teacher who is also a pedagogue. Each of them has contributed to the creative development of this Robinson-style camp through their personal experiences. Tesla’s Valley is located 2 km from the center of the town of Gospić. In Gospić, you can find various shops, cafés, a shopping center, and other amenities that a town typically offers. From Tesla’s Valley, heading 2.5 km further toward Smiljan, you’ll reach the Nikola Tesla Memorial Center. Nikola Tesla was born in Smiljan and spent part of his life there, creating his inventions which you can view in the museum, either independently or with a guided tour. Besides Nikola Tesla, another famous Croatian historical figure is Dr. Ante Starčević, known as the "Father of the Homeland." His memorial house is located in the village of Žitnik, just 5 km from Tesla’s Valley. If you're an adventurer at heart, there is the great Velebit Mountain with many peaks to explore. In the town of Gospić, you can also visit the adrenaline parks Likos and Rizvan City. Further from Gospić is the municipality of Perušić and the Grabovača Cave Park, and also within the Lika region are the famous Cerovac Caves. Just 40 km from our holiday retreat lies the sea. The municipality of Karlobag is located on the coast and offers numerous sea adventures during the summer. If you enjoy warm summer days and sleeping under treetops in the fresh air, you are the ideal guest for our Lika region and all its natural beauty. In the Lika-Senj County, there are two national parks: Plitvice Lakes National Park and Northern Velebit National Park. Just 90 km from our location lies a third national park – Paklenica National Park.
