Hi! My name is Sanja and together with my family I own and run three holiday villas in the charming seaside village of Mirca on the island Brac: Villa Gumonca (6 bedrooms), Villa Mirca (7 bedrooms) and Villa Maruka (3 bedrooms). We have been working in tourism and hospitality for many years, but most importantly, island of Brac is our home and we are passionate about sharing our love for it with our guests and friends. After some years of living in big city, I now live full time in Mirca and will be happy to share my firsthand local knowledge with you! If you choose our Villa Gumonca for your vacation with family or friends, I will be there to welcome you and help you discover the best of our island, recommend my favorite restaurants and local food, things to see in the area and experiences you should not miss. Villa Gumonca is situated just few meters form the beach in the village Mirca, 3km west from Supetar, which is the biggest town on the island of Brac and port for ferries connecting the island with the city of Split. Although it is so easy to reach and close to towns, Mirca is peaceful and easygoing. The nearest restaurant and a cafe are only some 2 minutes on foot from the villa, but there are also other great restaurants in the surroundings which the villa manager can recommend and they are all between 5 and 15 minutes' drive by car or taxi. Nearest grocery shop is 10 minutes by walk from Villa Gumonca, in the traditional old center of Mirca which still has the authentic island village architecture with stone houses and narrow streets. The nature around Mirca, with many paths through olive groves and pine woods, is haven for runners, hikers and bikers of all fitness levels.
