The Villa hideaway has a fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV in the LR and all BRs, free internet (W-LAN) and a washing machine. The pool has modern computerized water treatment and lighting and is accessible via a convenient staircase. In order to survive even hot days, the terrace has ceiling fans and the house is air conditioned. The villa has an ice maker, a Weber gas grill, and an additional refrigerator in the garage so you do not have to walk inside the house with wet feet. All bedrooms, living room and kitchen are protected with high quality mosquito grilles. On the first floor are bedrooms and bathrooms. One bedroom (our kids room) has a Sony PS3 with many games and internet access. The master bedroom has a bathroom ensuite with bath / shower and bidet. The other two BR share a guest bathroom. On the ground floor is the spacious living / dining area with kitchen and small bar, the entrance area with cloakroom and a toilet with washing machine. The house has two parking spaces directly at the entrance.
We (the Schneider family), rent our villa hideaway, because after many nice summers in Makarska we want to travel to other great places for vacation and therefore want to give our guests the chance to experience a wonderful holiday in our second home.
The Villa hideaway is located 280m above sea level at the base of the Biokovo Mountains above the town of Makarska in the small town Veliko Brdo. The house is about 2 km from the beach and the city center. Mountaineering starts From Veliko Brdo to the 1,762 m high Sveti Jure in Biokovo National Park. However, the summit, which has breathtaking views, can also be reached by car for less experienced hikers. The town of Makarska has many bars, restaurants, discotheques and miles of pebbly beaches with turquoise waters. The distance to Split is about 60 km, to the airport about 75km. At Villa hideaway, in just one holiday, it is possible to choose between the tranquility of the mountain village and the bustling city life in Makarska
