Villa Makarana Apartments are situated in a quiet neighborhood of Makarska at the foot of Mount Biokovo, some 330 yards from the center of town on a hill. The family-run guesthouse features well-furnished and spacious apartments with free internet access and all necessities for an individual stay. On the way up to the Makarana there are diverse small grocery stores where you can sample fresh local food. After a long and active day you can unwind in one of the many restaurants and taverns in the vicinity, tasting delicious authentic Dalmatian food and wines. If you visit Mount Biokovo you will experience the spectacular panoramic view of the Dalmatian islands of Brač, Hvar, Pelješac, Korčula and Lastovo. The owner can pick you up from the bus station upon arrival.

Property info

Villa Makarana was hand built by the owner 46 years ago. Every year we add some more value to it in an effort to make it more and more comfortable for our guests. We have been accommodating guests in our house for 40 years,and we have some guests from those first years who still come to us year after year. Our goal is that everybody leaves here with a smile on their face and with a feeling they got a good value.

Neighborhood info

Advantages of your neighbourhood are that we are close to the heart of town but at the same time distant from the noise and traffic. You can really have a rest here and go on foot all over town.
