Marta Stone, a Polish entrepreneur, founded Candy Brick after discovering Istria - its unspoiled nature, crystal-clear sea, dolphins, boat excursions, exceptional food and the freedom of cycling through olive groves and vineyards. This has grown into something quite unique: we do not just manage villas, we build them from scratch. Every property in our collection was designed, developed, and finished by our own team - which means we know every detail of every villa, because we created it. Once built, each villa is carefully managed to ensure every guest has a truly memorable stay. Our mission is simple: to make every visit an exceptional Istrian experience. Maja, our local host, is always on hand - for local tips, hidden spots and anything that makes your stay more enjoyable. Villa Monte Alba is a modern, thoughtfully designed villa set in the peaceful village of Krnica, just 2 km from the sea, beach, and harbor. Part of the Blue Bay development, designed and built by Candy Brick, every detail of this property has been carefully considered - from the layout to the finishes. The villa accommodates up to 8 guests across 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, with a sofa bed in the living room for additional guests. Every bedroom offers panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and the island of Cres. The living areas are spacious and filled with natural light, and the fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to enjoy meals at home using fresh local ingredients. Italian-made furniture, floor heating throughout, and air conditioning in every room ensure comfort in every season. Outside, the private infinity pool is the centrepiece of the outdoor space, open from May to September. Pool heating is available on request at an additional cost. The grill and fully enclosed garden with automated irrigation make this an ideal setting for long summer evenings with family or friends. Two private parking spaces complete the package. Three excellent restaurants, a grocery store, and a bakery are all within walking distance. Pula, Fazana, Rabac and Rovinj are all reachable within a pleasant drive through the Istrian countryside.

Neighborhood info

Krnica is a small, authentic Istrian village surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, pine forests and open countryside. The sea is just 2 km away, with beautiful hidden coves, clear Adriatic water and rich marine life. The nearby harbor is the starting point for diving excursions and boat trips along this stretch of coast. For those who enjoy being active, Krnica is ideal. Cycling trails wind through olive groves and vineyards - one of them starts just 30 meters from the villa - giving guests a genuine feel for the landscape and pace of life in this part of Istria. Within walking distance you will find a coffee bar, grocery store, bakery and a restaurant, all open year-round. A wider selection of quality restaurants is available in the surrounding villages, many of them serving fresh local seafood and traditional Istrian dishes. Pula, with its remarkably preserved Roman amphitheatre, is just 25 minutes away. Fazana, Rovinj and Porec are all reachable within a pleasant drive through the Istrian countryside. Brioni National Park, accessible by boat from Fazana, is well worth a day trip.
