A Diófaliget Guest House is located in a private, almost 3-hectare walnut forest. It is located close to a beautiful "bag" village Pogany, 350 metres from the Lake of the village. Pécs is 10 km away, the Villány wine region is 25 km away. The place offers numerous excursion possibilities, but it is also suitable for many days of retreat. The uniqueness of the place is due to the wonderful location in a beautiful environment and the first class wooden building. There are dozens of play areas both indoors and outdoors. The wood-fired sauna and hot tub provide a wonderful place to relax in the middle of the forest. During the summer months, a swimming pool is available for guests. A barbecue, gas barbecue, barbeque, bacon oven, bean cooker, all help our guests to relax. The renovation of the old press house will soon be completed, bringing back the old days. Fishing is possible in the nearby lake, with a permit. And for those who like sports, there is a running/hiking trail around the lake. A small pub on the shore of the lake offers refreshing draught beer. The popular and well-known Pilgrim's Way of Mary passes right by the Walnut Island guesthouse. Guests have the opportunity to observe wildlife on the guesthouse's own high pass. For a fee, you can also ride with an instructor at the horse farm in the village.
