The apartment is conveniently located near to the Hungarian/Serbian border and thus ideal for those wishing to take a short rest on their journey. Our accomodation and location are both ideal for short or long stay. As we are conveniently located between the two major tourists destination of the region: Szeged ( called City of Sunshine) and thermal bath of Morahalom ( (a popular destination for many tourists), you can either have a day or night out in Szeged, where you can do some sightseeing, eat out (Fish soup or Hungarian goulash), enjoy the local selection of vines, visit cultural places ( Museum, Synagogue, The Dom two towers Cathedral, Open-air theater.), not to mention the famous Vienna-style coffee shops with all the cakes, ice-creams and cookies on offer. If you choose to stay longer you can enjoy the peaceful outdoors while making a barbecue, the tranquility and bird song. Children have a lot of outdoor space to run around or play football. There is an outdoor swing and sand box, the rest is op to their imagination. If you wish you can take bicycles and explore the countryside. We are located in a place easy to get by car while surrounded by the typical countryside.

As your hosts, we are always available to help you to the best of our ability. We aim to make you feel like you are at home in this unique spot in Hungary. My hobby is gardening and cooking. I cook typical Hungarian delicacy and if desired I am more than happy sharing these recipes with our guests. Needless to say, most of the ingredients are right at our doorstep, from the chicken coop, vegetable patch or off the tree. Looking forward to meeting people from around the world and sharing our local pride.

As part of the Hungarian rural landscape, the small farmhouses nearby are our neighbors. One of our neighbors owns a grocery shop that is open for a limited number of hours each day. For any other shopping needs the closest village that is 5km away. Situated near Szeged (a largest town in south-eastern Hungary ( river Tisa and Maros). The city centre of Szeged is a lovely place for walking around and enjoy beautiful Neoclassical and Art Nouveau style buildings. It is home to many Festivals: Wine Festival, International Beer Festival, Tisza Fish Festival, Air Show, Christmas Festive Weeks, International Choir Competition and Folklore Festival, kayak canoe competitions... You can also spend a relaxing day in the famous Thermal Bath in Morahalom. There are saunas, steam rooms, massage sessions, hot spring water baths, a sport swimming pool and also water fun for kids.
