Location is great, close to serbian border. Once when arrived staff at front desk was very kind, explaining everything, with smile, maked us to feel good. Room is large, with diferent kinds of pillows and if it is not enough you can ask for pillow from pillows offer and enjoy your sleep. Hotel is very clean. Pools are clean and you can enjoy in silence. Breakfast was different every morning. Food in the bar deserved michelin star, enjoyed every bite from everything i ordered there. Waiter and waitresses were very kind, professional and with smile. Check in and check out were very smooth. In days we were there was very cold outside but in the hotel you feel warm. Staff speaks english and everuthing is written in hungarian, english and serbian, so it is very easy to manage your stay and to enjoy the facilities

disclaimer: I use the hotel to sleep, while I'm in town for work, so my experience is limited to the rooms and breakfast. I pick Hotel Piano whenever I'm in town, as it's a cozy little place, with spacious rooms for an excellent price. The rooms are clean and neat. The breakfast obviously doesn't compare to some of the fancier places I've been to, but for the price and category it is more than perfect with an okay selection. The place is quiet apart from the door issue I mention below. I've never had problems with people in rooms above or next to me. They have a 24/7 reception, which is another plus for me, as I tend to come and go at weird times myself.

Extra friendly staff in the evening and morning too. As I had a conference call during breakfast hours, the staff kindly brought my breakfast to the room, as per my request at check-in. They served me a wide variety of vegetarian, warm, and chilled food items from their breakfast options, and everything was tasty and of high quality. In this seemingly newly built hotel, the room and bathroom were spotless, well-equipped, and modern. A mosquito net was installed on the windows, providing the option to let fresh air into the room instead of relying on AC at any time.

The hotel is very nice, clean, big room and bathroom. There is a playground and also a big yard where kids can run and play. The beds are very comfortable, area quiet, i slept excellent. Breakfast good, with everything you need (eggs, bacon, cheese, vegetables, fruits, yoghurt, coffee). Parking in front of the hotel.

Szeged is a charming and relaxed city with beautiful architecture, wide streets, and a welcoming atmosphere. The town is nice and very clean and it has enough to offer, even in winter. The not-so-good aspect is that it is rather quiet in the evening, so it is not recommended for people who seek entertainment throughout the night. However, Szeged is rather close, so this problem could also be solved easily.

A peaceful place to walk along the river after a busy day to contemplate in the silence of the willows and gently push the water. There is no place to have an early morning coffee or an evening drink by the river. The place is neat and clean! Miraculously there are no mosquitoes. Meals at the hotel were quite enough because I didn't have time to go around too much due to work.

It's a pity we only spent one night in Seged - the city definitely worth visiting. We were unlucky with weather, but we really enjoyed Hungarian kitchen and local beer in the Régi Híd Vendéglő restaurant - very much recommend!

Close to Szeged, to Romanian border and to Serbian border. One day I was in Serbia, one day in Romania, nice to see 3 total different culture. From Mako good public transport connection in this 3 points.

Hot springs were the best curative ever experienced. 20+ pools Restaurant is one of the best for an authentic Hungarian road house food experience. Staff are friendly. Room and facility was clean. Room was a bit small but comfortable. Locals told us there are 2 other local hotels with equal or higher ratings, but are not worth their prices.

Nice city centre with a beautiful cathedral and many historical buildings. I liked the many pedestrian areas in the centre. The city is not too big so it is easily to explore :) My favorite sights were the Szeged Cathedral and the monument of the flooding victims near the shore of the Tisza river. There are enough places for dining in the city centre.

Atmosphere everywere during my stay was pleasent. Favourite palce was of course Hagymaticum.It could be a little bit more eating places in the center of the town.Around Mako it is very easy to get aroun by foot
