Beautiful Family Home Near Budapest with Scenic Views Diósd is a charming small town near Budapest, offering a peaceful setting while remaining within easy reach of the city. Budapest is just a 20-minute drive away or approximately 40 minutes by public transport. Our home is ideally located between two expansive meadows, at the edge of a small forest, close to the historic quarry that supplied stone for the construction of the Hungarian Parliament. The house is tastefully furnished and made truly unique by the owners’ handmade tapestries, as well as the stunning panoramic views stretching toward the Danube. The property can be accessed via a private pedestrian gate or a wide, remote-controlled gate for cars. A paved parking area provides space for up to two vehicles. Upon entering, you are welcomed into a small hallway that opens into a spacious dining area with a fully equipped kitchen. From here, you can step into the bright and comfortable living room, featuring two large windows, cozy sofas, elegant furnishings, a modern 55” LED TV, and air conditioning for both cooling and heating. A corridor from the dining area leads to two generously sized single bedrooms and a bathroom fitted with both a bathtub and a shower. The third bedroom, furnished with a king-size bed, is accessible separately from the entrance hall, ensuring additional privacy. An extra toilet and a utility room with a washing machine and dryer are also available. The terrace, accessible from the dining area, is furnished with a table and chairs—perfect for enjoying the outdoors. The garden is beautifully maintained, with a lush, well-kept lawn covering the entire yard.

Although Budapest is just within easy reach, there are still plenty of opportunities for relaxation nearby. The “Dió Döme Trail”, a wonderful program for children and families, is only a 2-minute walk from the house. This unique walking trail focuses not on biology or geology, but on life itself and self-discovery. It offers a peaceful walk in the heart of Diósd, surrounded by stories, nature, and beautiful views. It is a place where families can spend quality time together in a calm and pleasant environment—where neither speed nor performance matters, and where you can simply slow down, unwind, and enjoy being together. The Radio Museum and the breathtaking quarry are also located nearby. This area is particularly notable as it provided the stone used for the construction of the Hungarian Parliament. At the other end of the street, you will find a large open meadow with picnic tables—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenic views, even after a busy day spent in Budapest.

We live next to the house so we are easily accessible. Additional information: • Smoking is permitted only in the garden. • Pets are not allowed. • Only registered guests are allowed on the property. • Visitors are not permitted, and hosting guests is not allowed. If you wish to receive visitors, please inform us prior to booking so we can discuss the details in advance. • Parties and events are strictly prohibited. • For reservations of two guests, only the king bedroom will be prepared. To use the additional bedrooms, please book for at least three guests. • Baby cots or extra beds cannot be placed in the king bedroom. • Please flatten empty bottles before disposing of them. • The reservation includes up to 120 liters of waste per week. Additional waste bags can be provided for an extra fee.
