Located between Jimbaran Village and Pecatu Village (Uluwatu). This village is a hilly area with a distance of about 5 km from the capital of South Kuta District, 30 km from the district capital and 25 km from the capital of Bali Province, Denpasar. Just like many other areas in South Badung, Ungasan Village is also a favourite tourism destination hotspot and is starting to be developed. There are several beautiful beaches in Ungasan such as Pandawa Beach, Melasti Beach, Karma Beach, and many others. The infamous Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, or often called GWK is also located in this village. The Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park area is at an altitude of 146 meters above ground level or 263 meters above sea level. In that area there is also the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue which depicts the Hindu God Vishnu riding aloft on his winged mount Garuda.
