This building was originally a batik factory, a few tens of years of disuse and neglect. And this building was bought by our family and changed function becomes of residential houses. Architecturally, some part of the house still retains its original form, the ancient Javanese building with thick walls and building materials made from natural, such as stone and teak. Like most houses in Java, called Joglo, this house is designed in accordance with Javanese culture. All rooms have their respective functions, and were made to make occupants comfortable. Although this house has the design of ancient Javanese, but inside was a modern fittings, such as cable TV, Wifi, spring bed, air conditioning in every bedroom, hot water in the bathroom and use the toilet seat. We try to give the impression homey when guests come to stay at our place, and feel the comfort of staying in the city center with a quiet atmosphere.

Our neighborhood is very interesting, you can feel the life of the local community in downtown Yogyakarta. Its strategic location and proximity to several tourist destinations. Places of interest closest to our home is South Square, where people exercise in the morning and in the evening will be filled with stalls for snack and also some folk entertainment such as toy cars paddled. The atmosphere will be very festive with lights and music. Nearby tourist attractions, is the Palace and Taman Sari Water Palace which are all within walking distance of approximately 17 minutes. Culinary places nearby, is the village Wijilan, Gudeg center, Yogyakarta famous local food. Want to look for souvenirs, there is a gift shop nearby is Tjokrosoeharto. Both venues can be reached by a 10 minute walk. If you are lazy to walk, there are alternative transport, the Pedicab. Means of transport which cheap and easy.
