Yuyu Villa is a vacation residence that epitomizes contemporary Balinese rustic chic. Interiors are appointed with mostly weathered bleached teak tropical furniture, as well as beautifully crafted wood furnishings. The huge Suar table, Suar top bar and open kitchen, a few elaborate art pieces and touches of Indonesian traditional wood decor and statues, including a totem from Timor at the entrance. ★ ★ The villa has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with rain showers. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. Two bedrooms have canopied and draped king-sized beds. Another bedroom has a queen-sized bed, while one other bedroom has twin beds. ★★ Perpendicular to the villa is the 8-meter swimming pool. Give in to its beckoning, glassy waters for some mindless wading, or for some playful splashing. For some sun, you can lie on cushioned, rattan pool beds – some partially covered by a large umbrella – on the poolside wooden deck or on the garden’s well-kept lawn. ★★ At the breezy, semi-open and spacious covered terrace extending from the villa’s ground level is the living area. Around its hefty and long, cushioned bleach wood couch and chairs, you can all converge for moments of family or friendly bonding. At the center of a spacious pavilion connected to the covered terrace is the dining area with its carved one piece suar wood table good for up to ten. ✯ We can arrange breakfast for you at an additional charge. ✯ Here, you can all have your fill of authentic Balinese specialities – as well as foreign fare – freshly cooked by the on-site chef at the fully-equipped kitchen behind the dinner table. Balian surfing beach is just 500 m away. ★ For those of you that are avid runners or like long walks, the very best is Mejan beach early in the morning (7ish) or at sunset — ideally get to the beach by 5:30 pm to enjoy one hour before the sun goes down. ★ In the village you can try to take surf lessons – you can find surf instructors at Balian Beach 500 m away. Ask on the beach or at Pondok Pittaya. ★ Motorbikes can be rented at very low prices. Tell Wayan as well if you need one. You will get around faster. The rental place will provide adult helmets. ★ For local driving up to Medewi or Soka beach our driver will charge you Rp150,000 and the rental of a car is Rp300,000 a day. ★ For bigger tours, to Ubud, Jatiluwih, Tanah lot etc., we recommend hiring a tour including driver and car which Wayan, the villa manager can arrange. ★★★ MASSAGE ★★★ For massage fans, our professional masseuse Iluh can be booked for massages at the villa -the cost is Rp130,000 per hour. ★★★ YOGA ★★★ If you like Yoga, this is your place! Nicky, a Balinese with decades of experience, is the resident yoga teacher and his yoga place is called “Nicky’s yoga”. You can find it close to Balian beach next to the Hindu temple on the way down to Balian beach. 2 lessons a day: usually 9:30 am for powerful Ashtanga vinyasa yoga and 4 pm for softer Hatha yoga.
