Yogyakarta is a safe place everywhere and the people of Yogyakarta is polite and cheerful because its the tradition of Javanese culture. The most often places in Yogyakarta that open local events is nearby Rumah Gandrung. There are so many art gallery such as Jogja National Museum with their ArtJog every year between May-June, Art Festival of Yogyakarta (FKY) a week after ArtJog in Plaza Ngasem, Pasar Kangen Jogja is a traditional event that more like a traditional food market, classical accessories, and traditional dance show. Kangen means missing something or someone and Pasar means market. And there will be a Asia Tri Festival, a art dance event from three countries which is Indonesia, Korea, and Japan.
