Be transported to the 60s to 70s riviera in the middle of the cultural heart of Bali and its artistic heritage. Surround yourself in the vibrant retro colors of Shelter Island that will put you in an instant holiday mood. Relax on your sun loungers, enjoy the refreshing outdoor swimming pool, or read in our little library room.
You will be able to access all shared facilities and amenities located in the premise, which include our library room, pool and our shared kitchen. In addition to that, you can come to Room4Dessert for a romantic dinner and Powder Room for breakfast, afternoon snack and more, which are both only 1 minute walk away.
Please note that with the nature surrounding the area, encounters with bugs, insects and occasionally frogs or friendly geckos are to be expected. If you have concerns about staying in such an environment, this may not be the ideal choice for you.
Please also note that our space is not suitable for infants and children under 12.

Located only 10 minutes drive away from the center of Ubud (where the Ubud Palace and Monkey Forest is), we’re close, but just enough to be away from the hustle and bustle of the town.
Inspired by Sunset Beach at Shelter Island, New York, where Chef Will, owner of Room4Dessert and his wife had their honeymoon, this is a rendition of their memories. With splashes of vibrant retro colors, featuring mainly red, yellow, blue, green and lime expressed in different art forms.
