Terra Clementia opened its doors in 2025 and is run with love and care by a small, dedicated team. We currently manage a handful of thoughtfully designed suites – a mix of couple and family units – all located within a peaceful garden setting just minutes from the beach. What makes us special is our personal approach and deep connection to the local area. We work closely with people from the surrounding village, and many of our team members grew up right here. This creates a warm, familiar atmosphere where guests are welcomed not just as visitors, but as part of the community. Terra Clementia is an eco-friendly homestay just a 3-minute walk from Watukarung Beach, one of East Java's hidden surf gems. Set in a tropical garden with a shared swimming pool, the property offers four distinct stays: couple suites, spacious family rooms, a traditional Joglo villa, and a private rice field bungalow with outdoor jacuzzi. Built with locally sourced wood and natural materials, every room blends modern comfort with Javanese craftsmanship. All units feature air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a private veranda or terrace, a fridge, and access to our pool surrounded by tropical greenery. Breakfast is available and prepared with local ingredients. Our small, dedicated team: Sulianto in the garden, and Chandra, Tiwi, Aulia and Ami caring for rooms, laundry and meals, lives in the village and offers warm, personal hospitality. Many of them grew up here, so they're happy to share local tips on the best surf spots, hidden beaches, caves, rice fields, and family-run warungs. Watukarung is a small fishing village on Pacitan's southern coast, known worldwide for its world-class waves, dramatic cliffs and white-sand beaches. Largely untouched by mass tourism, it's ideal for travellers seeking authentic Indonesia, whether to surf, explore, or simply slow down.
