Started back in 2008 with 1 villa, the Kharma Villa was built intentionally for private retreat for close friends and family. Beginning with a hobby to have a relax place in Jogjakarta, which is also part of a memory and history of growing up, the owner realized that many people living in urban areas (especially Jakarta) need a “getaway” from their hectic working lifestyle. Thus 6 modern villas were commenced in the following years. For each modern villa, two story building with 3 rooms was added with a private carport, swimming pool, balcony, gazebo, living room, and open kitchen to make your stay feel much at home. The villas feature a well- designed minimalist concept combined with green tropical scenery of Palagan area, and promote the traditional heritage of Jogjakarta’s culture, combined with convenience plus ecofriendly of modern living lifestyle. Located in the outskirts of north- western Jogjakarta, The Kharma Villas have both sides of the world: close to urban area of Jogja (30 mins from the Airport, 5 mins from the big road of crowds), with the experience of living in the “village” of the locals.
